Seaguides TCI in Turks & Caicos, founded by Captain Mat Slattery and his wife Pat, offering private scuba diving, fishing, and kiteboarding guiding, as well as boat deliveries and sea trials. With over 30 years of experience, Captain Mat Slattery holds relevant certifications and a degree in Marine Biology. Skipper Pat
Pat's passion for underwater photography and scuba diving is evident in her work as a Cruise Director for several years in the indo-pacific. However, since meeting Mat and having a child together, she now spends her time off kiting, fishing with her family. Pat also enjoys teaching others how to scuba and sharing her love for the marine life.

Pat duties included handling reservations, organizing guest activities, managing inventories, assisting with accounting, and ensuring smooth daily operations to maintain a high standard of service

Cruise Director
Indonesia
During her time in Indonesia, Pat sailed across the archipelago, bringing divers to the best sites at the right times. This role strengthened her leadership, organization, and guest service skills while ensuring top safety and quality standards onboard.

PADI IDC
Thailand
Pat moved to Thailand to pursue a career in scuba diving, where he completed his dive instructor training and earned professional certification. Shortly after, he secured a position at a 5-star PADI dive center, gaining experience teaching divers of all levels and leading guided dives in tropical waters.

Mat founded and runs Caicos Catalyst Boat Charters as owner and captain, leading a team of skilled captains and crew. He provides high-end, personalized boating experiences in the Turks and Caicos Islands, overseeing operations to ensure every charter is safe, seamless, and memorable.

Mat studied Marine Biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, gaining a strong foundation in ocean science and field research. He also spent a year in the Galápagos Islands, studying marine life and ecosystems firsthand.
